Accuracy
is the name of the game!
When speaking,
we rely on intonation as much as on our choice of words. Therefore,
the omission or inclusion of a written word in a text may
mean the difference between success and failure in communicating
one's message. That is why at America's Translators, accuracy
is paramount. We follow a consistent, rigorous and quality-driven
approach in achieving our clients' translation and multilingual
publishing goals.
Painstaking effort
is required to ensure that a fully comprehensive and accurate
translation is delivered to you! The preservation of your
original syntax and semantics is our task, which is why all
of our translators and proofreaders are accredited and fluent
in both the original and the target language. Furthermore,
as familiarity with technical jargon in a particular field
or type of business is mandatory, our translators are selected
according to their individual backgrounds, fields of expertise,
prior experience and knowledge of idiomatic expressions inherent
to every country; thus, ensuring that all translations are
true to the subject matter and are correctly localized.

Client
Satisfaction is our Main Goal:
Our goal is to
provide a clear, accurate and comprehensive translation of
your products or services; conveying a specific image to your
foreign customers within the time frame you require.
A step-by-step
process is followed for each job:
Each
project is led by an experienced project manager.
The project
manager is responsible for all facets of the translation
job and for making sure that the finished product complies
with all client requirements. Project manager assignments
may vary according to field of expertise, localization
requirements and/or prior experience with the client.
Document
Review and Assessment of Localization Needs:
Once the files
are submitted, the text is thoroughly examined and all
details of the project are assessed including specific
location adaptation and formatting requirements. These
formatting requirements may be as simple as localization
of calendar or time settings, units of currency or measurement,
numerical format, etc., or as extensive as specific desktop
or website publishing requirements.
Technical
Glossary Building:
A glossary
of all technical terminology is prepared by one of our
subject-specialist translators. The project manager reviews
the glossary with the client and obtains his/her approval
as appropriate. Once guidelines and specifications have
been set, they are archived for future use by the client,
thereby assuring that terminological integrity is consistent
and is maintained as your product evolves or is marketed
to other countries. This means that the longer we work
with our clients, the better we can anticipate their needs!
Ongoing Communication with Client:
Just as America's
Translators assigns a project manager to your project,
we ask our clients to make available a member of your
company to assist us in the clarification of document
ambiguities. Direct, ongoing communication between our
translator and your representative will ensure that the
exact meaning of your intended communication, including
overall 'tone', is reflected in the translated document.
Document
Review and Proofreading:
Each translation
project is proofread and edited by a professional who
is a native speaker of the target language and familiar
with subject matter and terminology. The translated document
is then reviewed by the project manager who confirms that
all client specifications have been met.
Text
Formatting:
The translated
document may be delivered in simple text as a word processing
file or it may be formatted into publishing- ready text
if requested by the client. We support Microsoft Word,
PowerPoint, PageMaker, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, PDF and
HTML. We will ensure that your specific formatting requirements
are met.
Reliability:
Client satisfaction
is our top priority. At the onset of each new project,
our project manager and the client establish the completion
date. Depending on the size and nature of the project,
there may be one final deadline or several deadlines if
your project is under development and text is 'evolving'.
We know that quality and timeliness are vital for the
success of your project, so America's Translators is committed
to meeting all client deadlines. We can also expedite
our services and offer 'rush-delivery'.
Confidentiality:
America's Translators
adheres to strict confidentiality rules in compliance
with the American Translators Association. Each project
requires an executed Confidentiality Agreement between
America's Translators and the client. In addition, all
of our translators, proofreaders and project managers
must sign a statement of Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality
designed to preserve the identity and the information
shared by our clients.
Fees:
Translation
costs are a function of the source and target language,
the subject matter, the document's formatting requirements
and the project's time frame. We offer competitive rates
and unmatched quality. If you would like to receive an
estimate for your project, please fill out the online
